Decent tools, small hiccup

I bought the Fabric and Backwash plugins to help with some fashion shots. On the positive side, the Fabric plugin is surprisingly effective at smoothing out wrinkles, which saved me a lot of time. The Backwash plugin also helped clean up backgrounds. Delivery was digital, of course, and that went fine. My only minor gripe was that the activation process felt a little clunky; I had to restart Photoshop a couple of times before it registered. Overall though, the quality for the price is fair, and they do what they say.

Reliable plugins, as usual

Got the Portrait Volumes plugin this time around. I've bought from Retouch4me a few times now, and they're always consistent. My previous orders for Heal and Dodge & Burn were great, and this one didn't disappoint either. The downloads are straightforward, and the plugins integrate well with my workflow. Good stuff.

Easy to use, saved time

Hey, just wanted to say I tried the Clean Skin plugin and it was pretty cool. My photos look way better without me having to spend hours fixing every little spot. It was super easy to install and run in Photoshop, like, anyone could do it. Made my editing session a lot less annoying, honestly.

Good value with the bundle

I was looking for some good photo editing tools but didn't want to break the bank. I noticed they had a bundle discount for purchasing multiple plugins. I ended up getting the Skin Tone and Teeth Whitening plugins together. It was a pretty decent deal, definitely saved some money compared to buying them separately. The plugins work as advertised, making my portraits look better without a ton of manual work. Felt like I got a good bang for my buck.

Thinking of getting the full suite. Are there usually any good deals around Black Friday or Christmas for these? Or should I just jump on it now if I see a bundle discount?

N Noor Y. 2 months ago
Oh yeah, they definitely have sales during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Sometimes Christmas too. You'll usually see 20-30% off on bundles during those times.

They totally do! I got my bundle last Black Friday with a pretty solid discount. I'd wait if you can, the holiday sales are usually good.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows if these plugins are a one-time purchase or if it's like, a monthly subscription thing? Trying to budget for new tools.

L Laura S. 2 months ago
Nah, it's a one-time purchase for the licenses. You buy it, you own it. Updates are usually free for minor versions too.

Yeah, it's not subscription based. You buy the plugin and that's it. Pretty sweet deal compared to some other software out there.

Heard good things about Retouch4me vs ImagenAI. Is it really that much better for skin texture, or is it more of a preference thing?

A Alex 2 months ago
For skin texture, Retouch4me is really good at keeping it natural. ImagenAI is good too, but I feel like Retouch4me has an edge there for high-end stuff. Depends on your style though.

I've used both. Retouch4me definitely preserves skin texture better in my experience. ImagenAI can sometimes smooth things out a bit too much for my taste, even on lower settings. If natural skin is a priority, Retouch4me wins.

Does anyone know if Retouch4me plugins work well with Luminar Neo? Or is it more geared towards Photoshop and Lightroom?

C Cody 2 months ago
I use them with Photoshop mostly, haven't tried with Luminar Neo. I think they're primarily designed as Photoshop plugins, but check their site, they might have compatibility info.

I'm pretty sure it's mostly for Photoshop and works as a plugin there. Not sure about Luminar Neo, never seen anyone mention it. You might be out of luck there.

Is there a student discount for these plugins? I'm in photography school and every little bit helps.

M Marcus Bennett 2 months ago
Yep, I remember seeing something about a student discount. I think you have to verify your student status, but they do offer it.

They do! You should be able to apply for it on their site. Good luck with your studies!

Just curious, how many computers can I install a single license on? My desktop and laptop both need it.

P Phil Y. 2 months ago
You can install it on two computers actually, which is pretty handy. As long as it's for your own use, you're good.

M Mia Brooks 2 months ago
Yeah, two machines per license. Just make sure you deactivate it on one if you get a new computer and want to move it.
